Standards of Performance for Commercial Moves

A successful commercial move is achieved one step at a time whether we are moving a two-person office or a 46-classroom school.

Step #1. On-site Pre-bid Conference. We review the scope of the move and discuss our customer's special concerns and requirements.
Step #2. Second On-site Pre-Bid Conference. Now we get into the specific logistics of the move. We review the conditions, the normal items to be moved, the special items that need attention, and the entry and exit problems posed. This is a very important step because it will lead to time- and money-saving strategies.
Step #3. Communicate with employees of company being moved. We deliver the moving boxes and labels for each office. This gives us an opportunity to talk to individual employees, answer their questions and concerns, and conduct an informal "Packing 101" seminar with them during which we emphasize several packing tips that can turn a potentially problematic move into a smooth move.
Step #4. Moving Day. Coastal Carrier arrives with trucks and moving crews. Another smooth move with a hometown touch.
