We are proud of our deep roots in the communities we serve.

In 1985 Coastal Carrier Moving & Storage opened for business in Wilmington with one 12-foot truck. We grew steadily as we built our reputation on honesty, integrity, accountability, and professionalism. Word spread, and our business expanded to Raleigh, Roanoke Rapids and recently to Myrtle Beach.

Coastal Carrier president G. Wayne Ray has deep roots in three of those cities. He was born and raised in Roanoke Rapids, the site of our newest office. He lived in Raleigh for five years. And now he and his family have called Wilmington home since 1985.

The 23 men and women on the staff of Coastal Carrier Moving & Storage feel a deep connection to our customers, whether they are neighbors who are leaving the area or new neighbors moving in.
